Any surgical treatment is aiming to reconstruct the anatomy and restore its function. Trauson Mini-Plate System contains 2.0mm/2.4mm/2.7mm/3.5mm/4.5mm/6.5mm implants and related instruments required for inserting plates. The shape, design and the material properties of the plates take into account the current demands from surgeons for high fatigue strength, optimized load transfer and ease-of-use instruments. The implants are available in Titanium only.

Indication The Mini-Plate System is indicated for treatment of small bone fractures of hand and foot (except calcaneous and talus). It may also be used in revision surgery of non-union and mal-union.
Contraindications Patient with mental or neurologic conditions who are unwilling or incapable of following postoperative care instructions during the healing process
Patient conditions including blood supply limitations, and insufficient quantity or quality of bone
Allergy to the implant material
Lack of bone substance which makes stable seating of the implant impossible
